Launch of New Aerospace Quality Forum

A group of local aerospace companies, in partnership with BCS Training and Consultancy, have launched the Aerospace Quality Forum, representatives from British Airways; Gas Turbine Solutions; GE Caledonian; UTC Aerospace Systems (Goodrich); Ryanair (PAML) and Woodward attended the first very productive, and encouraging, meeting on 06 September 2012. Airframe Components Europe, Prestwick International Airport and Spirit AeroSystems have been actively involved in the initiation of this forum but unable to attend on the day.

The forum consists of member companies from the Aerospace Sector within Ayrshire, with the main aim to provide a community of practitioners within the aerospace industry to pool together our talents, expertise, experience and resources in the pursuit of continuous improvement within their organisations.

Uniquely, the focus is to support our member businesses through the challenges that they face on a daily basis. Therefore our scope and related activities will be driven by the member businesses.

For further information in joining the forum contact Shauna Dalziel at shauna.dalziel@bcsassociates.co.uk or 01292 671100.
